Registration:

Everyone wishing to register will need to fill out the required registration form.  Please fill out all sections of the form as legibly as possible.  Do not include anyone on this form you do not intend to pay registration for at this time.  This form, accompanied by a check made out to the Barnard E. Bee Camp, for the correct number of attendees will then be mailed to:

Registration Fee:

The Brigadier General Barnard E. Bee Camp #1575 is handling registration. Please contact them at the link listed above. The fee for each person who registers by January 31, is $5 and guarantees amenities for the battle, including straw and firewood. Those who register after January 31, will be considered a walk-on must pay the $10 walk on fee.  These personnel should not mail in their registration, but be prepared for an additional wait time on arrival that will be required for them to sign in.  Everyone is required to sign a release form before participating in the battle or any event on the Battle of Aiken Site.  Payment of all registration fees must accompany the completed registration form.  


Bounties: Payment of Registration Fees must accompany the registration.  All bounties require preregistration and participation for all event dates.  All of the Rules, Regulations, and Guidelines listed on the following page will apply.  A completed liability waiver is required for admission.  All reenactors must be prepared to galvanize for at least one day.Bounties are as follows …  

All Bounties will close as of January 31, 2012.  Your envelope must be postmarked on or before that date to be considered.  The postmark on the registration will determine who will be admitted and paid a bounty for attendance.  Remember you must preregister to receive a bounty. 

Cavalry: $25 per horse for the first 40.  Remember you must preregister to receive a bounty.  (See Preferred Vendors under Spectators for help with feed and supplies while in the area.)

Artillery: $125 full size for the first 16.  All artillery spaces for bounty have been taken as of January 31.  The postmark on the registration will determine who will be admitted and paid a bounty for attendance.  Remember you must preregister to receive a bounty. 

Infantry: $150 for the largest Union and Confederate units. (To qualify, the units must have at least 15 members preregistered.)

You will only collect Bounties for staying and participating both days.  You will only collect a bounty if you preregister.  Walk ons will not receive a bounty.  All artillery units are required to participate in the Night Fire on Saturday Night to collect their Bounty.

Registration constitutes that you have read, understand, and agree to the Rules and Regulations that govern all action while participating in an event on the Battle of Aiken and Confederate Memorial Park site.

Deadline for registration is January 31. Do not mail in any Registration Forms after January 31.  A $10 walk-on fee will be charged to everyone who has not registered and paid a registration fee.

To accurately portray this year’s events, all units should be prepared to galvanize for one day if necessary to balance opposing forces. It is mandatory for all battlefield participants to attend morning parade at 0830.  All unattached participants will be assigned to a unit at this time. No side knives (bowies) are allowed on the field.
